Not much of an abstract artist, but I was playing around....
Imagine that! ; )
And I kinda like how this turned out.
Though I liked the color version better, it suffered too much in the compression.
So here is a greyscale version, tomorrow I will post a still from the color version.

Thanks gang! You guys crack me up! MoonGoat! You are correct! It is very simple...one torus, one sphere. I moved the camera into the torus, and widened the angle alot. Which created a wide angle distortion.
Eric, how do you widen the angle? I have done that unintentionally and I always have to restart my image to get back where I was. Would be great to know how to manipulate it. Btw, very cool...wish I'd thought of it :) I love the color version, one of my favorite mats...too bad it doesn't "play" :)

At least I can look at this one without the room spinning...love the variations in shape and how you've brought them all together. Great sense of movement even in B & W
No straight GS to be sure--looks like a fine job of tweeking the number GS "colors" in the GIF to get the file size down. 'Mazing what you can do with the inside of a torus in Bryce--this one stikes me as your Zebra carousel turned inside out, hehe. Superb!
