Description
Spent most of this rainy day building this scene. I rendered the cloud background with cloud city, and then used that render as backdrop for the X-wing. Happy New Year.

nice job...cpl comments tho...cloud city leaning makes me kinda uneasy...since there's no ground plain to establish a horizon and let us know that the camera is tilted...it feels more like the city is falling out of the sky...and secondly...how'd you do those clouds...they look really good if they're CG?
I just wrote this lengthy reply, submitted it and - nothing!!! Anyway, once more...Thanks for the comments. The pic was inspired by a painting. The lean, I thought interesting and adding that bit of in-flight-vertigo sensation. Although, I would say that being a gravity controlled and self-contained environment, noone in CC would notice if high altitude winds push the city around from time to time. On the clouds: they are strictly 2D and made through cloning and painting in CS2.
