Description
I love sunflowers. Always have! This was taken a few days back on my venture to a farm. It was rainy and thesunflowers were drooping. The rained stopped for a while and I shot this with my new cam. October somehow seems the perfect month for this flower!
Up early , I like going to garage sales and looking for old things or treasures as I call them..hehe I love antiques or anything old that has charm!
Thanks for all your time and comments !

Hi Kimmers, I love your yellow umbrella :) You love anything old that has charm. Well I'm almost antique, but I don't know whether you would call me a collector's item LOL. Hugz, Dave
With sunflowers even the rainy days are filled with sunshine! :) Wonderul work!
Excellent! I would be proud to add this image to my portfolio.

Wonderful image Kimmers! I too like the Giant Sunflowers, they always remind me of humble old folk! :) Bravo!

Sunflowers are so captivating.....we had a whole field of them on a road that was just beautiful and they mowed it down this week wish I felt like taking a pic of them never thought of it until I saw this beautiful flower....... This is beautiful gets my Vote Love n hugs Susan~
My birds would love to get a hold of this one!!
Huge and beautiful. Excellent. Aloha
The petals are so heavy with the raindrops, but she still stands proud!!!! excellent image Kimmers!!!!
I think the sunflower looks so downcast, yet still sunny at the same time. Makes me want to stroke it and say, "It's OK, you're still beautiful!". Your eyes see so much beauty, and I'm really happy you share what you see with all of us. Excellent work! V
Oh, how wonderful! There is nothing so magestic as a field of sunflowers..and even the rain cannot dampen the beauty of this specimin. What a gorgeous capture...it could be a print! That unfailing eye of yours captures yet another true wonder. OUTSTANDING! v
What a lovely shot of this rain drenced sunflower!
I love this rainy sunshine! The rain really enhances the photo I think. If you watch the sunflowers, soon the birds will start eating them and you can get some fantastic photos then. Bravo Kimmers!
The sun can't shin every day for you my lil California girl!:)Cool shot my friend!Don't you get this new cam of yours wet now, you hear!:)
Poor thing the rain gave it a good beat down...but you have captured it wonderfully! I'm glad you got your new camera up and running, it's paying off! Aloha!
it's beautiful, Kimmers!!!! very nice POV of this poor little wet thing!!!! looks like you intentionally overexposed the background here? i like it like that...against the white it certainly does like stunning!! one thing to think about would be to erase out the trees on the left. i find them just a bit distracting, and i think it would make for a better overall presentation and would make the image more balanced if the left side had a white background like the right side. i so much enjoy looking at this Kimmers!!! It's gorgeous!!! :)
This looks hyper real, like you taken airbrush to it and created 'ultimate sunflower'. Love it.
thank you all nope this is untouched only clarified !..
Well done. I have to agree with dragonfly2000 -- it does have that airbrush quality that I find so appealing. Excellent!
Awwwee! This is an adorble Sunflower! It has so much personality, lol! Very clear focus too! Wonderful photo capture! :)
luv sunflowers too.. classy image with the plain white border.. wet & wonderful! :]
You did an excellent job on this! It has so much character, I love the way it is drooping down! With out the trees to give it away in the back ground I would have thought this to be a painted card! Love it! 8-)
Oh what a beautiful color photography of this huge and so fabulous looking sunflower! How beautiful the color setting is and how fabulous the water drops are covering this wonderful looking flower! I really love this shot! Bravo!!! VOTE
