Description
Hello all !
The other day I drove the kids to thier new school and had my cam I got for my bday with me. I felt adventurous and so drove and drove .Then, turned up and old road I had never seen before. I got lost and ended up at this old farm. They were selling Pumpkins and sunflowers, but shut down because it was raining. I had my umbrella and asked it I could take some pictures of the sunflowers as I love them the old farmers said " sure honey, now- just don

KIMMERS, excellent pic, postwork and story...I'm surprised you risked getting your new camera wet in the rain..You are a real trooper..bet you had mud up to your a......past your knees ,,LOL..just love everything about this pic..V*
lol no way was i going to get my camera wet i had an umbrella...!!! thanks!
I think that looks great Kimmer. He hee what would you do if you need both hands to pull yourself out of the mud? Yea the umbrella is not going to help much and you still have to keep or try and keep the camera clean and dry. But glad you came out ok because that is a great picture there.
Excellent find Kimmie...it certainly looks like a Model A Ford, so your guess of 1929 is probably bang on...V

The result is great! I like it a lot!!! Hugs
that a fine auto there and it look like the sunflowers is looking and bowing to it
I should not pass up an opportunity to trudge along a sunflower patch when I get a chance, especially after it has rained!! This is truly an amazing contrast, notwithstanding the postwork. I am sure the car was happy to see itself photgraphed. Fun apart, I think it is a great shot and a just reward for all that muddy walk!
Excellent!! What a wonderful find indeed..and in sunflowers no less. Brava!

I love your curiosity and persistance. You had every reason to turn back and head for home, but not you. The reward is for all of us. Excellent photographic composition by an excellent photographer with a big helping of creativity. V
Wonderful caputure! Bravo Kimmers, I too love those big drooping Sunflowers! I puting a render togeather right now with an Old Ford much like this one, well maybe polished up a bit! ;)
H"adventurous" lady... your picture illustrates very well your "expedition"... great postwork to end up with a very good compo ! :~)
Great found!
This is my new favorite of your pictures. I think it is supurb. The story, composition, lighting, cropping, the out of frame work, the bright colors, the shiny metal, everything you did to it i like, including the forefront tire tread effect (altho maybe a tad of a smudge/blend at the transition between old tire tread look and new would help).
You did a great job here, congrats to your post work skills! Wonderful compo!
What a cool find this is!!!! I find rusty cars to be so "beautiful"...or cool rather. And when you have all that rust on such an old model as this one....you get PERFECTION!!!! And located within all those sunflowers....THAT MAKES IT EVEN MORE PERFECT!!! Such a wonderful find and capture. Have a great day. #:O)
Whats so weird about it is that the tires, though dirty, actually look to be in great shape! Wonderful image!!!
what a fascinating find. i like this car, it has so much character and personality.looks great between the sunflower. a wonderful and unique capture,Kim. * BRAVO * #:O)
That camera is remarkable. Very Clear and Crisp picture. Excellent. Aloha
