Thank God you and yours are safe.
Another tragic sight. You are like our own personal guide for those of us who do not live near-by. Thank you for another photo-journalistic scene.
Be careful around these transformers, you can never tell what chemicals it may spill. Excellent shot. Aloha
WOW! What a mess those hurricanes make! Be careful out there it is very unstable and things could fall down on you. Thanks for these shots, it is all a blur sometimes on TV. :)
I like the look of this shot. Has a good POV.Devastating though.
Indeed, what a mess.
Excellent shot of how strong and terrible those hurricanes can be. So far we have been very lucky here in Miami .. getting them when they were not so strong - but still causing damages though. Hugss zoozee :)
My fifth try to comment on your picture ;) Force of mother nature is fascinating and scaring.
Ace photo Jock!
nothing can deny the power of mother nature. to get hit with one of these transformers would not be good. great pic! :P
Nice shot, Jock. Lots of wreckage here too, but not as bad as your way, or Beaumont. Glad you're all ok.
Things happen to stop working, for a short time or a longer time! Fortunately back online, but this mess here might take a little longer... :)
Is mother nature trying to tell us something?
I agree, the biggest power of all is Mother Nature!!,glad your ok!!
when I was in college I lived in a trailer house that was not tied down(next to cemetary no less) and we had a storm with 80 mph winds that tore up 200 year old tree all over town. nothing happened to the trailer and I slept throught it with out waking up. the next morning I went to campus and could not believe the damage. excellent capture Jock
