Description
I went to Sulpur Sat. and saw all those boats I did not stop to shot the phot but I came back on Sunday this is when I stop and shot this .
I was going to write ...Now look at this "now I know why sailors stop sailing for the sign say 'end of launch' I guess so when they launch they boats they end up on land lol" but that dumb so I did not write it.
It real bad in Lake Charles and Sulphur area. Had to put plastic on a roof that have a tree on it and the house is supportting the tree up in a way if you cut on it it will roll on you . lol getting some one with a cherry picker to pick it off the roof. Then yesterday I had to get a icebox and to freezes that was pack with rotten food. That smell ws so bad lol the worst I ever smell something. No photos on the rotten food I just clean it out and left. Took me most the day to do that
thanks for looking and comments and votes

A strange looking scenery, John, with all the boats, the train and that sign! Well seen and captured!
That hurricane really tore the place up - like the photo tho, well shot. Sorry 'bout the food and roof.
quel dastre, c'est vraiment triste voir ! mais malgrtout c'est une belle photo ...
very strange and stunning! never seen such a damage like this! one cannot imagine the desaster until one can see is with own eyes! well captured, Jock! ;o)
Excellent photo Jock ... too bad about all the boats washed up on shore. thanks for posting this -- sorry about the rotten food.
Quite a remarkable vista here! Confusing! Beautiful capture!
Tremendous damage. A costly one. Aloha
That water still looks really high, it's amazing what the devastation looks like in your part of the world. It's nice to see something that's not on the news because it gives a more human perspective to this tragedy.
wow you live so close to the destruction!! all those boats tossed about like that... sigh makes me think of all the homeless .. soso sad...
Cool pic ... !!! EXCELLENT WORK !!!
Excellent shot. With the train going somewhere and the boats stranded on shore their adventures over. Hope your roof is ok and the rotten food is the worst you face. Take care.
I really like drag's comment about the running of the train and the stranded state of the boats. It is a great contrast. This is a shocking photo. An excellent one, Jock. I am glad you are safe. Be careful with that tree. Don't stand too close when they use that cherry-picker. I hope you have more food to replace the rotten stuff. My prayers are with you and all who are suffering. HUGS
This is excellent. You should keep all these photos for future generations to see.
What a shame. Excellent photo that gives one something to think about.
Oh terrible pose of boats. Awesome power of nature.
Excellent shot Jock!!!

What a mess, the cleanup is going to take a long time.great shot!
thrown around like toy boats! a bit of black humor to this with the sign! :]
...and to think, this is just a small piece of the disaster. There is hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage just in those boats. Glad you are safe.
Great capture Jock! That train looks funny among all the boats! :)
How very sad. All those boats ruined. Just hope no one was in them at the time. Good pic! V (:
