Description
as one can see the majority of the tree trunk is gone and what is left is rotting with a large hole big enough for your leg...but this tree refuses to give up. I think it can be applied to every day lifes

So true your words Richard, life is indeed a struggle and like the great trees we should at times dig our roots in deep to overcome our demons...Excellent shot mate...Bravo!!!...:))

Woww..!! Excellent shot..!! very impressive work...love it..!
Life that never gives up, I keep staring with amazement to all those trees that still have a tiny little living part and keep alive, indeed, one of those encouragements of the creation to keep looking forward, even in the hardest conditions!
Impressive.
It seems to to me that this tree, has an about sixty years. Surely with overpopulations of squirrels without predatory, it sounds nourished well! It nice sounds, but he corrodes our trees. Beautiful compositions!!!****!!!
You know..I think every living thing has hardships we have to endure..as the saying goes..what dont kill us...only makes us stronger. Excellent photos and words!! :)
