It reminds me of a TV show "Fractured Flickers" that harked to silent movies and the first images coalescing from the countdown on the leader.

MMMMMMM this is very nice Richard, I have a fascination for shards, and facets, as many here know, so this is a concept I like very much, love the colors and the effect is very real.
