Can they be used for exhaust from a rocket very well? Or like a Spinner's exhaust (from Bladerunner) when it lifts off?

Can they receive a 'twist' modifier? I would think that would give it a good exhaust kind of look...

Aha. So it wasn't Kirk's FIRST trip into the Mutara Nebulae after all! What's the render time impact with those things, tho? Are they useable for a nice fluffly cotton-ball cloud sunny day?

Render time is definitely impacted. I have this set to the second best. No GI. When I've tried GI, render times can go into the 15 to 20 hour level. This render is about 1.5 hours. I don't know about the twist modifier. -Kix
