Subject: Deleting a particle generator in C5 pro beta?

Hi Im trying to delete a particle generator. I cant make it delete...all I can do is make it invisible. Anyone else having this problem? tnx

I have the same problem with poser objects imported with the Native import. Impossible to delete them !

Brycetech: I think I have had the same problem before, but not precisely with a particle emitter. What I did was to use the Cut command under the Edit pull down menu.

Can you delete other particle generators, or just not this particular one? I haven't had a problem deleting them, what kind of object are you using for your particle?

In the case of my poser characters, the Cut command under the Edit menu is greyed out.

they are fixing the poser issue. Regarding the particle emitter that is very strange that one hasn't happened in the beta group. You may have to send the Car file to eovia tech support so they can fix it ASAP before the release. Ringo

I cant "cut" it either (or copy)..I was going to copy to a new file to get rid of things, but copy isnt available for either emitter (the one I want or the one I dont want). ringo... the object it uses as a particle has "spin" (its a plane with a propeller) applied to a part of it. Im wondering if that is preventing me from deleting it. I'll test it more later...Im trying to render now and dont want to stop the render. :) there are 2 particle generators..each generator is using a copy of the plane, but the second one has a different material on the plane to give it some randomness. It wasnt working to suit me, so I wanted to remove it. I cant. :( BT
