I cant "cut" it either (or copy)..I was going to copy to a new file to get rid of things, but copy isnt available for either emitter (the one I want or the one I dont want). ringo... the object it uses as a particle has "spin" (its a plane with a propeller) applied to a part of it. Im wondering if that is preventing me from deleting it. I'll test it more later...Im trying to render now and dont want to stop the render. :) there are 2 particle generators..each generator is using a copy of the plane, but the second one has a different material on the plane to give it some randomness. It wasnt working to suit me, so I wanted to remove it. I cant. :( BT
