I forgot this one... * 'Orbit Camera': This tool seems to orbit the camera around a position one 'grid square' (whatever unit that is) Behind the center of the world (one grid-square too deep into the screen) instead of z=0. Any reason for that? or just a bug?

Just guessing, but maybe it had something to do with the way I loaded the model... before, I used the 'import' menu and had to search for the .obj file. Now I have the Poser content paths added and dbl-clicked on the model to load her and now the camera orbits around the center of the scene as it should.

I just started playing around with D|S and had a few thoughts... [Image comparison above uses imported .cr2 and .lt2 files, so camera placement/focal length may not match exactly... I'll try a .pz2 file in a bit] * do yourself a favor and disable any shadow-casting (on imported lights, at least) for now. It might possibly be related to the shadow-map-size (no way to adjust it in D|S), but the above render shows the issue with shadows, particularly on transmapped areas. * also visible in the image, looks like there's some work left to do on joints (note arm-pits). * Distant lights: these are essentually the same as Poser's "Infinite" lights... doesn't matter 'where' you place it, the orientation (direction it points) is the only thing that matters. * don't bother trying to orient lights using the editor-window tools (severe 'gimble-lock' issues)... use the dials/sliders instead. * render options - OpenGL Render: this is a hardware rendering and will give you Exactly the same image you already see in the editor window (including the ui tool boxes for rotating/positioning objects). I'm not sure when using this option might be useful... aside from producing an image to save to disk that may be some dimensions other than the editor window. If you just want to do a spot-render, it's just as easy to zoom in with a camera. ...more later.
