Feel the Poser Pulse getting stronger!
The Poser Pulse Showcase - Selections from the February Poser Gallery
This week the Pulse presents some of the best artwork posted to the Poser Gallery in February!
"Cozy Lakefront" by poser4me
At first glance it's the striking POV that grabs your attention but the details hold it.
From the light coming into the room to the faithful companion, a peaceful atmosphere permeates the entire scene.
The Poser references of course put a smile on our faces!
This week the HiveWire Big Dog is 50% off until Wednesday, March 22nd 9:59 am (cdt).
We asked poser4me to tell us about working with Poser and to share their thoughts and inspirations for this piece.
"I love to show off Poser's power and ease of use. I remember coming across this unique software at a popular computer store back in the 90's, I believe it was Comp USA. Poser 3 really opened doors to my creativity in animation and just having fun with 3d graphics so quickly. With the intuitive controls to navigate the camera and subjects, I can create some pretty good renders very quickly.
The inspiration behind Lake Front was to put the viewer in one of the most comfortable, serene environment to just relax and be at peace."
We can say that goal was thoroughly achieved with this image but how does one go about creating all the details? Again, poser4me graciously gave us more insight into the creativity that goes into their art!
"I'd like to thank Afrodite-Ohki's Cozy Room for Poser Superfly - part 1+2 for offering this free model. When I saw this room it was just a matter of getting the right model and camera angel to put viewers in a calm state. I love the over head angel the best as it gives a sense of openness, and lets you feel how the outside world is so close with our comfortable inside domain. Now the Poser logo was actually created from a Michael 4 pose flattened like surrounded the iconic circles made from primitives from the prop folder. With everything positioned just right and locked into position, I then gave everything the same color except the white bowl behind it. And there you have it, I even use the logo in my finished renders usually in a lower corner of a scene. My hope is to show others the great renders we can get out of Poser with such ease of use, so happy rendering to all and most of all have fun."
Thank you poser4me for sharing your creative process with us and we hope this will inspire more people to keep experimenting on new things with Poser!
