Simple, clean -- love the commitment to the color story. And I am in LOVE with the rain splatter on his arms and body. I also really like the way you make the sharp angles of the hat work with the pagoda roofs that emerge from the darkness. This really is excellent work -- it reminds me of the sort of character portrait I would find in a Role Playing Game (and that's a good thing; there's lots of great work in RPGs). Bravo, and congrats on being selected a Staff Pick! You deserve that honor.
