Description
Kasha sat back in the pilot's chair, listening to the back-and-forth between her friends Wendacora, Tempestt, and Lynsey, and the North Korea forces. Things went smoothly at the start of this operation: cause a distraction so Ranpha and her team can swoop in undetected, rescue Dan and Rod, and get out ASAP. However, the Republic dug in and gave grief to Team Divas, especially Wendacora.
No word from Ranpha. Not that Kasha expected any at that moment. Until Rod and Dan were freed and out of harm's way, there could be no communication between the two teams. They couldn't risk crosstalk being intercepted by North Korean intelligence, even with secure channels.
Still, after three or so hours the wait was unnerving.
Suddenly, Kasha heard the shrill of Wendacora's voice piercing the crackle in her headset: "SHORYUKEN!" Followed by a loud pop.
"What the hell, Wenda!?" Kasha said through clenched teeth. "You're trying to make me deaf?!?"
"I think I already lost hearing in one ear," Lynsey groaned. "Someone take away that girl's PS4 when we get home? PLEASE?!?"
"Will you all CHILL for a second?!" Tempestt said. "We don't know how much more ground we need to cover. Any word from Professor TNT, Kasha?!"
"Just that one coded text while in transit," Kasha replied. "And I can't risk hailing them. Until THEY give the all-clear, we're still in the dark.-"
Suddenly, a bright flash of light shone in the windshield of the ship. A missile shot upwards from behind the mountain range,
A MISSILE!
"They fired a missile, team!" Kasha said. "Plotting potential trajectories!"
A map of North Korea, South Korea, the Sea of Japan, and Japan itself appeared on her console. The missile seemed rather small, so it couldn't have a range to reach, say, the United States. However, one path showed a beeline to Japan.
DAMN IT! If only this Vanguard had EMP weapons, Kasha thought, then maybe I could neutralize it.
Yeah, and risk everyone's safety here in the process.
The missile's path cut over the Sea of Japan, and suddenly disappeared from the screen.
"Kasha," Wendacora asked, "what's going on?!"
Kasha sighed. "No need for alarm right now, Wen. Missile disappeared from scan. Must have disintegrated into the Sea. Kim Jong-Un is a fuckwit. Carry on, ladies, and clean house."

Just trying to push my part of the Rescue Mission along. I hope Ranpha is having some luck in finding her friends.
This vignette is indeed based on NK's latest saber rattle.
Happy Valentine's Day to all lovers and friends.

Excellent work, Wes!!! Damn you have some fine pretty morphs over here! Love her face and also her expression in this shot! And great job with the text! Such natural flowing communications between them. There's such a sense of urgency and surprise at the launch and it's so cool getting the story from different angles. Extremely well done, my friend!!!
Darn good job on story and dual imagery, Wes. Very interesting series.

I'm loving this! Kasha looks so intense, and yet very lovely and sexy! And she's soooo right about Kim Flung Dung. What an idiot.
I'm thinking that missile might have had some help falling out of the sky - but of course I can neither confirm nor deny that...
I'm loving the way this is going! I just hope the Girls get here soon... They're gonna be a lot easier on the eyes than these NK goons! LOL Keep 'em coming, Wes!
