Description
Made the sky and liked it, then didn't know where I was going from there. Made the sea and then I came upon an idea. Eureka!
Today's fact: Archimedes supposedly said, "Eureka!" when discovering a scientific theory. It is Greek for, "I have found it."

Fantastic idea and composition! Really excellently done!!!
and this is the way we rise the sun, if it still sleeps somewhere behind the scene...congrats for the idea! you have my vote!
I thought it was a town in California. Nicely done.
Nicely done! I guess sometimes the light bulb just goes on. :-)
very cool. :) i love the atmosphere, and the composition is perfect. the mood is so sat and stormy, and then you see the light bolb and it gives you hope. btw, there's a small "cut" (i'm not sure how to phrase it) in the right side of the sky, just above and right to the light bolb.. nothing a few smudges wouldn't fix. but other than that - this image is just perfect!
Again a great idea and a superb composition!
Was it Isaac asimov that said "The most interesting thing to hear in science isn't Eureka, but it's, That's strange!" Great ocean/beach scene! Love the way you did the water washing up on shore!
Also could be your trademark image, 'cuz you seem to come up the best bright ideas!!! love it !! :o)
Nice work frogdot, I love it.
great image again - I can't think of Eureka without thinking of Yreka CA which they call "why-reka". In greek, I guess that means "I have found it - but I don't know why?"
Love the look and the entire concept...TY Dave...(=
Very imaginative, Dave...and you always stay up with "current events"!
Cool!...wish I had just a smidgeon of the ideas your head seems to posess! "v"
Very cool sky. Even cooler idea for this image. You are correct in your translation of the Greek word. Also, Eureka is the state motto of california going back to the gold rush days.
Good idea. Beautifull colors, sky and water.
great idea and pic - speaks to me of hope
fun concept...V
