Description
Having survived the crash of his Barracuda , Major Django stumbled throug the destroyed city for days.
He was badly bruised and hungry , but some strange force within him was drawing him deeper into the ruins.
In the city center he saw the remains of an old church and he felt a strong urge to enter.
It was dark, the only light, a bright , almost physical shaft of light entering from the crumbled left hand corner of the building.
Just as his eyes had adjusted , a person stepped out of the shadows into the light.
Major Django felt like every bone in his body was hit with a sledgehammer, as their eyes met.
He realised he was somehow looking at himself, by some strange twist of destiny,
they shared the same soul.
He felt his strenght come back, a warm glow of confidence fullfilling him.
For the Sarge , it had been the same.
Seeing the battleworn Major entering the church,
he knew that was what he had been waiting for..more than his brother , more than twins even,
that person was his other self somehow.
As their hands touched to welcome , their mind shared all memories.
More even , they realised the true nature of their existance, two incarnations of that one hero , that was forever doomed , to battle the evil , they where the chosen.
Together they would be stronger than ever before but they realised, they would need every bit of that strength, for that final
battle against the forces of the dark.
