*~* Dedicated to FracturedMoon! *~*
Probably my favorite genre of all time is fantasy themed subjects; if for no better reason than to allow me to escape the harsh realities and complex complications of real world life. Being completely immersed in a strange and mystical world with impossible creatures and fantastical characters is always the epitome of interest in my mind. Another form of escapism for me is meeting outstanding artists and sharing artwork and experiences together; befriending people who not only share your same passion, but add to the growing database of marvelous artwork which we hold so close to our hearts. One day in my travels here on Renderosity, I was blessed by a random act of kindness by a very talented and sweet artist by the name of Fracturedmoon. Her generosity, sincerity and enlightening words came at a time when I needed it most, and it serves as a reminder to me as to how special people really are on this site. As it turns out, Christine is a very gifted and talented artist who also enjoys creating beautiful fantasy artwork for all to view, and her gallery is full of fantastic images which I truly enjoy. Please stop by and check out her gallery here; among the images is her winning piece for Melissa

Fantastic work!!! So many different elements all working together, Excellent image!!!
First of all, this has to be the best of your work I've seen so far, and no, I'm not biased ;). The colors, the posing, the lighting, the details, everything is just really, really good. I can't say a whole lot about this image that hasn't already been said, and I think "Wow" has already been said a million times ;). Secondly, thank you so much for this sweet dedication... it's always good to know that there are people who appreciate the little things, and I'm glad that my small gesture meant so much in your time of need. Thank you, also for your mention of my art.. I get so discouraged with it sometimes ~ and, I'm sure like a lot of other artists, I'm my own worst critic! Thank you again for this... it's such a beautiful piece, and beyond that a sweet gesture that I will cherish. hugs
whoa... awesome image... great effects..
Excellent image David! You express yourself in a great way! I get very frustrated at times with the real world. Things like eating, sleeping and working are always getting in the way ;) Very well done David!!!
SIMPLY AWESOME!!!! Love the colours and the beautiful details. The gremlins look delightful and your heroine stunning! Bravo!
Oh David!! This is some MAGINIFICENT piece of art! The motion and that glow effect of the light trailing behind... You've done it sir!! A standing ovation!!
I can see why this has generated so many comments. It's excellent.

The scene is enough to blow me away..not to mention the absolutely gorgeous outfit, the little gremlins..and that wonderful magical effect!!! She really appears as though she has leaped right out of that portal..Absolutely excellent!!!! :0)
A incredible and wonderful job!!! Impressive scene in their all aspects!!!! V
I love the entire concept of the image, and it was well worth every second it took to create. Your art is always so creative and original, and such a joy to view!!! As for her finding herself in what may be a worse situation than she left, like my Nana used to say: "Be careful what you ask for, cuz you just might get it". :-)
David, you've done a fabulous job here. Your "labor of love" definitely shows. The amount of time and energy is evident with all the texturing, posing, and composition. You took your time and it looks awesome. Well done, my friend and I look forward to seeing more of the same.
WOW!!! Epic and magical artwork! Love all the effects in this scene. Intensely wild!
Ohhh... what an utterly beautiful image! This really depicts the escape from reality. Her expression shows a little bit of everything - from sorrow to surprise, from pride to ... fear? I don't know. But since nobody knows what is beyond reality, it is possible. An excellent image with a very sweet dedication.
I really love the effects in this one-the blue fire-like material is just fantastic, and you always put so many details into your renders!!! I know about that "real life" stuff taking away time for rendering-I'm so far behind I don't think I will ever catch up!!!! EXCELLENT work!!
OMG, i am late, what an outstanding image. You are very creative Excellent composition and perfect work
Excellent details and colors! What a wonderful job on the demons.
Fantastic image DAvid! I love the effects, the pose, her expression and that outfit!! Amazing composition and very nice concept :) Your art is always a joy to see because you add so many details in it and the mood is always perfect!! Hugs
Wow - very exciting fantasy image! I really like the pov on this, and that giant blue portal- and especially how she seems to have projected out of it. You bring us right into the action and drama of the scene. Really excellent art. V. :o) CC
Mesmerizing! I love all of your artwork, but I have to say this is my all time favourite. The concept is such an important to so many, including myself, and the way you've executed it through your art is astounding. How beautiful to see her emerging into a completely different world away from all the chaos which can overwhelm us at one time or another. Exceptional artwork! V
this is so very different from you - and I think it's awesome. What an amazing set up. PS: I thought that rendering was the real world, and everything else was an illusion?
Wow, absolutely gorgeous! One of my favs from you so far! Excellent!!
Well they certainly aren't boring! Wow, what a scene. You got some strange and abundant vegetation, a couple of horny green guys and one hot momma dressed to kill stopping by for a visit. In all seriousness, this render looks extreme and is out of site! Well done on every aspect. I'm jealous.
Geez dave, another fantastic image! I love the portal and all the elements in the background!
Dear David, Congratulations again!! This is really cool - of course - you always do such great things. I love the water caustics on the portal - that is really a clever touch! As always, you scenes are so rich in detail it takes a while to see everything. I like the action of her springing from the portal - that's really nice. And the litle green guys are really cool - if they eat e-bots's I want to borrow them!!!! Really excellent work and congratulations again!!! Love, Meredith
