Great concept beautifully realised Gun, lightness, dark, innocence & wisdom all appear to be in the hands of fate, the expression of the little girl is lovely, she appears to see so many possiblities ahead!

Wonderful soft tones, great expression in her face....and you title say's more than enough...well done
A charming atmosphere!
beautiful and worrying! great!
Great picture!!! Lovely textures and water color look. Excellent!!~*****~!!
She looks a bit apprehensive as the raven awaites. The raven looks bold and sure as the girl looks undecided.... what will the future hold. A very thought provoking image. Excellent. V ;o)
Wonderful artwork. I hope the raven isn't a portent of evil to come for this lovely child.
I love that texture here! Looks like some frozen waves, stopped in their movement! The crow is a sign of hope in certain civilization and the girl and the crow look in the same direction... To me, this image is so full of meaning....beautiful work Gun!
Powerful Gun, the crow, to me, is a warning to the child, if only she could understand what may be!
One of my Preferred poem is THE RAVEN "And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door; And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming. And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor; And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor Shall be lifted---nevermore!" E.A.Poe
So very creative; I love this work of art!!!!!
Just seen the development of this in the forum Gun, this is a great finished piece. I like the girl looking out of the image towards her future I guess.
Awesome looking image! It does have the look of a watercolor ! Wonderful texturing and composition! V
Great image.
whatever will be, will be, que serat que serat... wonder what her life will be like with the raven to look out for her... wonderfully done :]
Gun, you do such impressive work, thought provoking and emotionally impacting. This is one of many of you works of art that touch my soul.
Hmmm the Raven is seen clear and sharp, the portents are destined... while the child has to do what the child has to do, discover and hope, though unclear of what's to come... perhaps, or at least what I percieve of the symbolism here.
Fabulous composition!!
I am made to think that this image could have been through the eye of the grandparent. Maybe a melancholy realisation that this moment in time for the child... this moment of innocent vitality is only a temporary respite from the relentless march of time that will all too soon force her to become a 'grown up' for the rest of her life. Beautifully thought provoking Gun. As always it is a tremendous pleasure to view what your minds eye has to offer. Thank you my friend.
Lovely picture of a sweet young thing!
ahhhh... OMG!!! :) cool one!!! i love the combination - the little girls face and the raven/crow... ;)
VERY oriental and fairytale-like image. Can almost hear the story that should accompany it.A young girl rescues a crow that has become trapped...
I'm quite lost of words but I just want to tell you, Gun, that I LOVE this picture! Thank you so much for creating and sharing it. hugs :-)
hehe... that song popped to my mind "Che sera, sera, what ever will be, will be" my daughter loved so much when I sang that for her. I knew it cause my mom sang that for me too when I was young :o) Your image is fantastic! It says to me the kids don't have any fear what may come if they know their parents care for them. Excellently done! vote*****

she is angelic. i shivered so hard when i looked at this...shivered so hard my body was shaking. the lighting is beautiful, and she should keep looking toward the light 'cause whatever comes, we can't stop it. but till it does, let the sun shine on us!!!! Incredible piece of art...i can't stop crying.
