Description
Last one of this building. Or first if you are just starting.
Yesterday's comments had me LMAO. You people certainly outdid yourselves! We will soon be heading to something more picturesque. It's just that I've seen this building for years and the sheer size of it amazed me, that and the fact it was literally in some folks backyards!!
This gives us an excellent laboratory to watch urban renewal at work. Yes, this building is decayed since it's been closed, but remember: I said they were building luxury homes on the site.
We will take, if I can remember to do so, aperiodic revisits to see how the reconstruction of the area proceeds. I have two more images of areas in the neighborhood of this building. This last image (on this page!) is the view from some upscale townhouses. One was open for viewing and quite a bargain at something The Weese could not consider paying!! Indeed, the entire feel of this section of Locust Point is changing.

Stay tuned. We got prettier stuff to look at soon.
I suppose this building was like a car wreck in motion... just can't stop looking.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

all those windows!! can't help but scan it & see just how many are broken... such a large monstrosity now abandoned, fine shot weese!
she's a big ole gal alright... i am betting some of her neighbors wont be so sorry to see her leave
I would love to be in this building and getting lost there for hours just making one discovery after another and capturing the finds with the camera. I hope that you will have that abilty to do so.
Awesome. Aloha
A fine old Erection for sure :]
fantastic and impressive capture! love the broken window giving a special mood away! ;o)
Dear TW, I just focused on the building with all the windows. Doesn't make a lot of sense just for elevator operations. I wonder what they did there. It looks like the Imperial Sugar plant south of Houston - wonder if I might have been something similar. Excellent work!! Love, Meredith
