Description
I've always liked the movies from the 30's and 40's era. Found some fashion and hairstyle photos for reference and decided to try and paint the hair. The figure was too small to do real detailed work, but I'm happy with it.
Made the v2 map, orchid and wall.

Well done.
Very nice styling...true to the feel of the period.
Man you got the effect with this one... Excellent work I would try another using seriously monotone almost B&W picture
I agree with Steeleyes101, a B&W with a slight hint of color added would be cool. Sort of like an old B&W with color hand painted in later!
lovely composition and colour
Excellent work on the painted hair(I would have never guessed "painted" to look at it, I would have thought "molded"), it has great depth and texture; a true realistic characture about it. The whole piece is really nice to look at, very quiet and still. The scene is well created! Excellent work Dave! (=
wonderful! you have captured the style..bravo!
Of the period for sure! You must work night and day on these... I'm glad... I so enjoy your work Dave!
