Well, the POV is not good and you need to understand the art of surface creation, and you'll get there through practice. I can see you're already experimenting. There is too much contrast here, which can be reduced in a good quality paint program, like Paint Shop Pro. You did a great job on the atmosphere. See? You can be honestly and intelligently critiqued without the need for the oh-so-typical backslapping popularity contest V from the fractals crowd of which they are notorious for. Swing by the Terragen forum for intelligent help.
I think it is wonderful that you have started posting with Terragen and I personally like what you have created. there are definite aspects that stand out
