Dear Richard, for once I managed to anticipate you a little. I figure this would be a flower and I had the color more or less right, but I didn't expect a rose. After the bluebonnets I figured that Indian Paintbrushes would be next. Good thing I don't bet (much!) Great macro work and the soft pink pastel is wonderful! Nice depth of field, too! Excellent work!! Love, Meredith

absolutely beautiful.. this is so soft and sensual.. excellent..:)
The mystic rose which is feminine in nature and is ruled by the planet Venus, her element is water and many deities like Hathor, Eros, Cupid and Demeter share her beauty. The rose has the power of love, healing, protection and psychic powers. And in magickal uses roses have been used in love mixtures, owing to the flower's associations with the emotions. A chaplet of roses worn when performing love spells( remove the thorns ), or a single rose in a vase on the alter, are powerful love magick aids. Roses planted in the garden attract fairies, and are said to grow best when stolen. Richard this exceptional photography friend...Bravo!!!...:)
