Another spring shot today... it is dedicated to Andreas ~aka~ Zacko
Had told him about a sundaywalk taking some springshots a couple of weeks ago and since then he asked me several times to upload those spring shots as up there in Sweden the weather wasn't that fine yet.
LOL... you guessed wrong in your comment yesterday "There's that springshot you promised me, wooohooo!!!" ... this one is for you, Andreas! *wink*
Hasel - Hazel - Corylus avellana
you can see the male and femal blossoms on that twig... you guess right which is which ;o)
To all who have asked me about my sickness... sounds weird but it wasn't funny at all... had problems on two insect bites cause my allergy gets stronger every year. My right arm was about one and a half of my left one due to that nasty swelling... couldn't work without pain. And cause of the swelling on my neck I could hardly swallow. The "germs war" in my arm and neck really got me down and those pills finished me.... but the medicine did a good job! I'm almost the same ole! ;o) Thanks for your thoughts, my friends!
Thank you for your kind comments and rankings on my yesterday's upload
Finally blossoms on the cherry tree
I always appreciate it a lot!
Hugz

A gorgeous photo. I did not know you were ill. A frightful episode you had with insect bites. Nothing to treat lightly. Could have been very serious. I am so glad you are better.
Just beautiful Monika!
Beautiful spring photo from the Swedish nature you show here :-) .. so simple yet detailed and beautiful. Love the strong dof effect. Excellent composition *V

Oh boy, you HAD a hard time with those swellings. When allergies grow worse it's not easy to live without the fear of getting another insect-bite! Wonderful dedi for Andreas, Something very special for him! Excellent work!
Wow! Magnificent shot, Moni. I remember I shot a hasel last year (around the same time you did), but my photo wasn't this clear! Great job! Mhak, Tjeerd.
I have the same problem with mosquito bites !! react really badly now and never used to before !! This is a superb image, so crisp and sharp and the short DOF makes for so much more impact - perfect and beautiful shot !! ~V~
This is just a superb shot Monika. Love it in its simplicity. Glad your feeling better. V Tks :^)
Never seen this plant before. Very interesting looking. I love the depth and the colors. I am also glad you are doing better.
love that soft blurred background... really makes those worm like critters stand out! Male or not :)
Such a fine shot on that "TrollHassel" :) It sounds awful...being reacting that strong...getting allergic chocks....was it a wasp? Hope Ure fit for fight now, Honney :) Puss & Kram
Excellent capture Moni!! Fantastic work!! vote
Och sse Aufnahme ^^ , gut das es dir wieder gut geht !!!!!
fantastic color and dof!!! very nicely done!!!
In swedish I think this one, if it is the one with winding branches is called trollhassel, eller ormhallsel, but in latin in that case it would be with the last word Contorta, wich mean twisting. Nice shot anyway
Fantastic shot!!!! vote
