Description
I went for a stroll yesterday with my boy, Ernie; D70 hanging around my neck -- this 300mm zoom attached. I was in search of birds. I spotted a Robin hopping around the field not too far away, so I zoomed in on it -- and snapped. That was the only bird in site; I don't know where all they all were; it was very windy - maybe they hunkered down somewhere until things settled down.
Remember Hershey? Our neighbor Elk? Well, this is Hershey again -- his huge rack had fallen off about a week or two ago, and already a new one is starting to grow again. I snapped a lot of pictures of the Elk next door - they were way over by the barn at first, and when they saw me, Ernie and Bud, they all started coming closer and closer. They were right up in front of us, checking us out. "Sonny" was hissing at us (they actually hiss!); and when he hisses, it looks like he's SMILING! I wanted to post that picture today, but Danielle really wanted me to post this one instead. "NATURE CALLS". Is there any other name for this??? *LOL* Honestly, I'm not too thrilled with this picture; sure it's 'cute' that he's ... 'going' .. lol .. but the quality of the image isn't there. I'll post "Sonny" tomorrow.
Thanks for all your comments on my pictures...there are SO MANY - they are so fun to read!!!
Have a great Sunday !! :)
