Description
These images were taken by my beloved, as I was not there for the final ceremony. As mentioned in the comments of the previous mandala post, the entire thing is destroyed after the final ceremony. This signifies the impermanence of life. We were lucky to get some of the sand from the mandala, good mojo in that!
Have a great weekend all!

Wow, that's beautiful!! I'm so sad that they destroy it, though. Thanks to both of you for sharing it with us in its finished state. :-) V

A beautiful photo of (in my opinion) humanity's greatest form of art - hours upon hours of painstaking detail to create a fantastic work...that is destroyed in seconds. The Universe in motion!

Quelle merveille cette image! Moi aussi j´ai du mal à voir la destruction, qui est justement le but de la manoeuvre! Je suis une bhouddiste minable qui a du mal à accepter l´impermanence :-)))
