Description
In deep depression,
We build walls, close off the outside world.
It becomes just too much to bear.
We scream and no one ever hears,
The screaming is fading in our brains.
We just want to go to sleep and never wake up.
Sometimes, we forget to shut all the windows.
A look out that window,
Brings a hope,
A will,
To
Survive.

I'm more of a panic attack/anxiety person but depression is always lurking in the background. Wonderful job of capturing the feeling, the lighting and her expression really tell the story. I hope the light coming in cheers her up a little!
Very emotional image Leah! Hope for you to feel better!! HUGZ
I think more and more people are finally admitting to having this terrible illness. Xcellent Artwork!
What a moving rendering! I am touched. Did you put the face in the lower "white" part on purpose? It is incredible how that face just stands out to me! Awesome work! Am sorry to hear of your issues but am glad you are getting the correct help for it -- so many people don't. This other face in the rendering is haunting.
I was recently diagnosed with severe depression with panic attacks, and I so know her expression as well as the noose in the background! Excellent render, I too hope that she finds something that helps!!! Peace, Lorie
excellent expression!!!impressive!!!
I suffer from Depression also and have a fine Psychiatrist who sees me every 5 months or so. This picture is so heart rendering as I see myself in this picture so vividly. I have been there, believe me! This is truly very moving!
Beautifully captured emotion and imagery!!! :)
This image is dangerously depressing. You have successfully created a powerful image without and using any words, communicated the story clearly. Wonderful...
Your art is truly wonderful. It speaks. This one exudes so much emotion.
Beautiful render! You did a wonderful job with her expression too! Excellent! :o)
Excellent scene Leah!!! Beautiful lights and shades!!! Very expressive face!!!
Very moving image. Pain inspires art...
And yet more hugs!!! Leah... I am so glad your walls do not keep out your art!!
sorry to hear of your depression. I know how hard it is to deal with such an illness, not only from your pov but also the families. My stepson is bipolar and we deal with the ups and downs of his mood. Know that I will keep you in my thoughts. :) take care, oh yeah. Great image. One of my first poser pictures ever was the shadow of a woman hanging from a ceiling fan. You have dealt with the emotions in this image very well.
I really admire how honest and real you are with your art and who you are. I'm sorry for your depression but glad you are dealing with it. A very touching image. CC
So very sad. :( Hope she's feeling better soon. An excellent render!
I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, and Social Anxiety Disorder. Your picture speaks to me in many ways on many levels. Thank you.

You're the best and bravest here, Leah!!! You make me laugh with your renders more than anyone else, and then you do such emotional and touching images, like this one!!! You know you have a friend!!! Excellent work, and you are in my thoughts!!
Absolutely gorgeous lighting! Keep looking out that window!!!!
Such a lovely long neck -- no need to stretch it further.
Fantastic image. Great light and full of emotion. Excellent artwork.
I can tell many words here but you already know how much I apreciate you and that I know what your talking about. I'm glad you don't hide it I know how people can react sometimes. But this is you and it's a beautiful you!!
Very touching image Leah. You have captured the feeling perfectly. Thank you.
Hauntingly well done image. So glad you are getting some help and hopefully, some much deserved relief. So sad that many don't seek help, and even sadder, imho, that many cannot even think of affording such treatments. We spend Billions on all sorts of things. How about 'people'? Just a dumb thought from an old geezer. PEACE to you dear soul.
Leah, if anyone can beat this, it is you! Your strength is an inspiration to us all! Huge Hugs Friend!
Such An Awful Feeling So Wonderfully Expressed!
