Description
Long Black Veil
But sometimes at night where the cold winds moan
In a long black veil she cries all o'er my bones.
She walks these hills in a long black veil.
She visits my grave when the night winds wail.
Nobody knows, no, and nobody sees,
Nobody knows but me.
Nobody knows but me.

I like Johning Cashes Version of this song.
Face by me, changed background and pose some.
Thank you for looking, and hugs to all.

Wonderfully Done!
This is just beautiful. Excellent work! :)
Very beautiful dark elegance... superbly done !!
What a dark stain she carries upon her soul...how heavily her heart has beat through the years and this portrait of regret is magnificent!
Perfect visualization of that old song that I only grudginly admit to being old enough to remember, LOL! Haunting imagery, one of your finest works!!!
Very well done, goes perfect with the words (HUGS) to you.
How romantic and tragic... Excellent image!!
Dark, brooding and very romantic in a black tragic way. Bravo!!!!!!!!
Stunning piece! Bravo! I agree, Johny Nash's version was great, I have Kingston Trio's rendition off there greatest hits, but I thought the lyrics were written by Opry veteran Danny Dill 1959!

Excellent image for this song. I have the time-life collection that has the Lefty Frizzell verison. According to the credits here, the song was written by Danny Dill and Marijohn Wilkin. I wouldn't even try to suggest changes. This is about as good as it gets.
Stunning mood! I love her toes peeking out from under her dress. And that expression is wonderful. Masterpiece!!!
Gorgeous dark background! The mood almost seeps out of the picture! I really like the face of this women, it's less doll like and more expressive then most! The shadows and flesh colors are perfect!
What a dark feeling..eerie that it is..theres a sense of one wanting to be there to mourn with her.I love Johnny Cash :)
