Description
Hellion has illustrated for Mongoose Publishing books for a good couple of years now, this book (Quintessential Barbarian) has a fair few of her pictures in it, done for 2003.
I thought it might be nice if I posted up a few of these, since they show a different kind of style, requested by the company.
This first piece is of a human tribeswoman/barbarian/plains-rider, they have a strong affinity with their mounts and enjoy an almost mental-bond with the animals they ride.
Enjoy.

Wonderful job on this. The connection between them is palpable.
Excellent drawing! Such composition would well work as an illustration for every RPG book.
Good job!
great character and style, the arm is looking a bit awkward though, around the tricept area. cheers.
I'd like to know what kind of tools your use to create such wonderful work! Lovly job!!!
