Description
This started out as a simple portrait and all was set until it came to the lighting lol so experimented and it turned into a lighting exercise. I find it interesting how different an image can look just by changing the lights all 4 images are identical except for the lights
thanks for looking
Chris :o)

Oh she is Beautiful.. Her Skin tones are perfect. I love the light in her eyes.. :)
Yes. I think the single most important element to 3D art is the lighting!! (Hooters are important, too!!) LOL!! Beautiful work-fascinating variations!! EXCELLENT!
bottom right... maybe dud could have chosen if you'd just renderes hooters !!!!! excellent demo pal
Gorgeous, and those eyes are striking..beautiful lighting!!
Amazing how a light can change the outcome..
interesting concepts S love the different ways different lighting brought out a myriad of things about her ( the one on the upper right is my fave) S she's beautiful in all of them tho S Awesome job!
Oh WOW!!! Your new Shalea texture looks incredible in all these shots - they are each quite fantastic! Excellent lighting - thank for bringing them all to us today! :o)
Beautiful lighting, You have razon the lighting is so important that is an alone image and is seen in all distinct, of that way changing the color and the texture of its skin and the reflection of its eyes!!!! Fantastic!!!!!! :o)
yeap different lighting can change a character drastically.. good job though.
Wow great Image and the Light its perfect !!! Excellent Artwork !!! Excellent!!
Yep... its the lights! Bottom left looks best to me! Pretty girl Chris!
I know what you mean about the lighting! I spend an enormous amount of time on that (last thing I do) ... sometimes more time that it took me to actually create the image. LOL! I think the lighting can either make or break an image. I think the bottom left definitely looks the best! :D
Oh she is gorgeous!! What a pretty face and texture! I am going to be looking for her in the MP now! And yes..lighting makes all the difference in the world. She is a beauty. Brava! I like the top right the best but all are very enchanting.
I like the first one best, gives her a real soft natural look. Interesting how much lighting can make a difference, excellent example.
Great image. The bottom 2 look best but they all look great. Excellent demo.
Oh yea, lighting is where it is at!! Gives us depth of view and can change the whole mood, plus change overall or specific colors. Ahhh the wonders of light.
The KOL liked the bottom right the best. However, I like the top right. Why,because the lights in that one gives such a different shadow play across her face. It's more real looking in my estimate.
LIGHTS are making the image and don't forget the SHADOWs!... ... ... ... and i sit down and enjoy the image of her... SMILE... ...AND: WHERE and WHEN ... again this question ... SMILE!!!
Hey wonderful lights...i prefer the 1 and 3 light!! Wonderful the face and the eyes!!! Well done hon!! Wish u a wonderful week! Big Kiss Eva
Lighting makes or breaks the image, all of these are nice but I like #3.
these all look like they would work for different scenes and different environments.and shaleas texture looks fantastic under most lighting, thanks for showing..i like them all..

I'm kinda partial to number 2, (Top left) seems to give her a mysterious look, All are Excellent!!!
stunning x 4 wonderful
I like numbers 2 and 3..and I do lights and I think these are awesome! LOL HUGE HUGS
Awesome work of Art my friend!!! Love the way you use to translate your emotions!!!!
Yes, the lights (and shadows) make the image. Getting the lights the way I want usually takes over half of the time I work on an image (including rendering!) An awesome demonstration of the effect of lighting. Like primal says, they're all great, for different situations. Excellent work!
Lighting is the soul of a portrait.I use always many spots with different colors and intensity. The lighting of number 2 is very nice!
Really awesome Chris. This really shows off your skill with lighting. Excellent portraits!!
Oh yes, lighting does make a hell of a difference. All 4 versions are very good. Very well done work!
