Description

I know it's a really bad shot, but like I said yesterday, it was from a car as we drove by on the side road. What you don't see is the owner near the barn carefully giving us the evil eye! LOL What is phenomenal is the rate of growth on the foliage from this to the previous photos!! Even down here in the south we don't get that kind of response using Miracle Gro! The seasonal change is too much, and for a house that has been deserted for over 50 years when this was taken around '91, then the growth overtook it within a year--maybe it didn't like us nosing around...I will be posting more shots of this place as I find them--my photo storage bins look like they've survived (barely) a tornado! We're talking 20 gallon bins here, folks! :D But for tomorrow I will post a graveyard series from New Salem, Massachusetts and a bit of history along with it. Strange circumstances with that location, too...but you'll see and judge for yourself. Thank you all for coming along on this photographic journey with me! I am seeing if I can get my friend up there to take recent pics of the place providing it's still standing!

The growth for one year is incredible! Now I can see that there is a porch and the door is about 3 feet away from where the plants had taken over. Strange about the shadows on it then? Hum? I will enjoy the next series as much as I have enjoyed this one! Bravo my dear!

Perhaps this haunted sheltering place as an allusion to your inner self, a signature of your affective existence?

when you go back to the house look through the smallest ov the two windows..either directly below or slightly diagonal to the left there is a dark green two seater settee. i get the impression the inside is in better condition than one would expect.

Darn, I guess it had to end eventually. :( That's okay though, especially with a graveyard series coming up! Thank you so much for taking us on this incredible journey. I, for one, thoroughly loved it and enjoyed it!

There is a group of faces to he right of the house. The most distinct one being the brown one between the white tree and the roof. Also, did you notice the tall figure that stands as tall as the porch roof. And right in front of that, and slightly to the left, is a small figure (mostly a blur) standing in the yard.
