That guy is super kewl! I'm hopin you intend to do the zealot armor as well. - Gazzy!
For a WIP he already looks pretty cool !
Ya going to make a Zealot? Or are you going to put a cloak on 'im and make a Templar?
WOW great work.. love starcraftm cant wait to see the finished product
He is going to be a Templar I don't now which one a dark or light.
Daniel, this looks real good! The mesh is awesome and the textures top notch! Just imagine him with a black shining reptil like texture, would be cool too! Excellent WIP!
Looking very cool!
My Goodness. when the hell will you ever make something Nasty. Yo all your work is incredible. seriously theres alot of stuff out there that i dont like but when you put something out i know im gonna like. When i get money or a credit card i get some of your stuff. keep up all the awsome work and that creative mine going. keep it up.
Fabulous work. My only crit is that the forearms look too chunky for the size of the bicep and tricep. It would just be too heavy to life. Stylisticly, I considered the Protoss to be cultured and advanced, whereas the big, thick forearms make them look lumbering and brutish. That being said, I would not be unable to do a model as good as this!
AHH I agree with your anatomy critic Turin Returns; but Protoss have very large forearms and since they are an alien race I would not be able to tell you why there forearms are so big, as I have yet to meet one. but that's what I tried to emulate, If I had done it my own way then it would have not been a Protoss that we all love.
Great model. Love the legs! I think the additional muscle on the forearm is obviously needed to power those four massive digits. All opposable, like four thumbs! Ra I'm glad they haven't gotten their crushing hands on you, yet.
As a starcraft fan I think it's very cool work you've done ! Love to see it finished .. and why not a dark and a light templar ?
Uhm, I know I am late with this, as you've already hit the rigging stage...should have seen it earlier...but uh, the leg muscles aren't quite right. They're really close though, so maybe you can let it slide but as a pure technical issue, one of the muscle masses ends incorrectly going toward the groin.
Yeah I understand what you are saying Teyon but, I was going for low a poly count as I could get him. Since I am going to animate him soon. As far as the groin issue I was not trying to recreate a realistic groin. I was told that if the CPU wont see it don't model it, this is very early right now, he will have a cloth over his groin, and also armor around his leg and arms when he is complete. Thanks for the interest though ;^)
Once again you show the magnitude of your talens.
Literaly playing Starcraft seconds before I saw this. Superb work! (Protoss were always my favourite).
