Description
This town was a Cornish Klondyke after the end of Tin mining but now sadly abandoned for many years.. They say that as a result there is a Cornishman in every pit and mine in the world after the exodus..
Thanks as always for your comments and taking time to look..
Some postwork for a change to add some atmosphere, and I think I will leave it here in this gallery

Excellent photo, worthy of a tousism promo!
The emptiness of the building and the haunting moon are provicative elements in this scene. You really struck upon the right colour tones as well to make it work so incredibly well.

hauntingly beautiful...can almost hear the whispers of the past. i love images about mining. i have some in my gallery. my father grew up in a county big on coal mining. while we were visiting my folks this summer, we took MANY shots of an abandoned mining community. Vote!
