Beautiful shot Danny!! Love that squishy catterpiller jam:) Happy Birthday SNAKEY!!
Reminds me of the creatures that eat my tomato plants. We call them 'tomato worms' and they can get quite long. You can hear them as they chew up leaves. I sure don't like them.
ive seen a few of these on my travels, there was a B+W one at my doorstep which i think i have in my gallery, and i shot a few green ones like this with unsuccessful composition. but this is superb mate!!!
Wonderful! Raj will like this! Excellent done!!!*
Great macro Daniel....!! Very good focus....!!
It has a tail... and some racing stripes on the side... but I would be afraid to touch it... I don't know why... funny it turns into something so beautiful... :]
Super capture of this big critter. Weldone. BRAVOS!!!
beautiful find... got lots of room to dance for snakey's birthday in this great depth of green, but he'll have to work quick to become a butty in time!! :]

wow Danny, this is a beauty.....never saw such larva. I like you different work.....I search all the time for different bugs. Yesterday I went to a lake and you don't believe me, I sit and wait for dragonflies in front, I saw that one you was searching for "Hummingbird ".... but a big dragonfly, really BIG.... posed on my naked shoulder!!!! I used the cam, so Ger couldn't make a shot from it....Not that nice feeling, the noices from the wings near to my ear!! And I couldn't either make a shot from it...so I had a real nature tattoo for a few seconds.....:-)....brrrrrrrrrrr...and happy Birthday Snakey a lovely didi.....
What to say? I will repeat myself- awesome shot! ;-)
