The Real Martian Sky color?
I was on the Mars Rover website today and saw what they called a false colored image of (Endurance crater) where Opportunity is now looking around. That picture was quite a contrast from what we have been seeing lately from the rovers so I thought I

Very, very excellent! I am a Mars fan too, and this is such a wonderful image! I can't believe you did this with primatives! The textures are GREAT too! V :)
Excellent recreation. I love those colors! The bryce astro is a bonus. Love it.
Very realist. Your astronaut is amazing !
Well done! Appreciate the level of detail to the red dust on the boots of the astronaut.
VERY REALISTIC SPACE SCENE!!! AWESOME MASTERPIECE!!!
That old kids question - Why is the sky blue? And would whatever causes it be in the Martian atmosphere? I might have to do some google research.
Hey drawbridgep, check out this link you'll see what I mean...........;-)http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/ It's called the "Rat" hole trail.
Excellent!!!Thanks for posting!
Outstanding. After looking through your gallery and website it occurs to me that Mars is not Handicap accessable. Obviously NASA needs to take immediate corrective action. The same being true at area 51 I think it is time for americans in wheelchairs to unite and demand immediate government action. LMAO.
Great job. As you said, Rover was a false color image, probably twisted blue to remove the all-red washed feeling and improve contrast. So a sky that blue...hmmm. But who knows, in certain circumstances it might be possible. Since martian atmosphere is higly variable, that blue could be a carbonic ice artifact of blue light diffracted. However, the blue hue on the astronaut is unlikely given the surrounding, IMO. I'm gonna have to take a look your web syte. PS :What about the matronauts ? you like them ?
It is very beautiful! It is excellent! It is the great artwork!
