I tried to show you an almost exhausted lake... I don't know if I succeeded...
Terrain made in pure TG - 1025 terrain with 5 meters point spacing - multi fractal perlin.
Postwork: only levels and sharpening.

Excellent terrain, especially for Terragen. Great work on strata and colors.
Surface and Terrain are really excellent as is the Strata! Maybe the transition between Strata and dark rock is a bit to sharp imho! anyway xlnt work! Mr. Anderson? Matrix?
Nice surface and water effect
@me109: the transition is sharp, as it's a region of past lake... So it's covered with all the muddy stuff. Yes, it's a cite from Matrix Revolutions.

You have depicted the idea of a drying lake bed very well. Excellent work on the water, it's transparency and, the strata.
Your water is very intriguing and looks extremely realistic. The terrain and shadows, with the surface, on the right, are very nice, but the rest of the terrain isn't so good for the composition.
