Description
We were at a party where the host had us play Cube? They read from a book, and gave us subjects, which we used paper and pencil to either write down our response or draw it. At the end the host described what every thing was supposed to symbolize. Example, she would say "Draw one or more flowers". The flowers turned out to symbolize children. If we ever have them, God help us! The Cube was me, the horse my lover, the ladder was friends, the storm was trouble, etc...I normally don't include the sketch for my 3D work, but this one came straight from the party.

I'm not sure I really understand how this game works but, from what u said, I see u in the middle of troubles with ur wife keeping an eye on u to make sure u're safe! That's quite typically the men-women relationship! Men are adults who completely forgot to grow up and we spend our lives looking after u! I can really relate to this!! Fabulous piece my friend! Love it! :)

Yes Pascale, you have it right, supposedly the gist was that there would be trouble ahead, and my friends (The ladder) would be there for me, and my lover (Wife) would be keeping an eye on me, but unable to help directly. Now it is ironic, that we later went through almost 3 years of dark time, where I had trouble finding good work, 911, etc. (See my piece "Hope") and this new job that pulled us out of the Abyss, was through a very good, old friend of mine! And my wife, all along would be watching me, worried about me being depressed, and saying "Wish I could help you." Kinda spooky! But then these things happen to all of us at times in our lives. Just not looking forward to kids that want to form a rock band! LOL!! Thanks for all the great comments!!
