Sorry, another W.I.P. I have updated Faerie Fountain (4/27), many changes as per wonderful suggestions.
This is the next one I will be wrastling with, I like the idea, the effect is fine, but I have many, many more pictures to add. Scan, crop, add....So there will appear to be repetition on the surface for now, that will disappear as I add more images.
The idea is asking what and who we are, a collection of memories? Or are memories just shadows and reflections of our spirit? Anyway, an exploration of mine.

Great start, easy to see it's going to be pretty awesome. "The idea is asking what and who we are..." - that would fit in so well with the April 2D forum theme: identity. And also a good question to think about!

Nice depth. Ray Bradbury spose....'Course then you got them Maori, and the Birdseye frozen ontray in the Italian (not Austrian) Alps, et al...and then...and then...and then along comes Borges, hehe. Et ceterah et ceterah et ceterah....

Little late on a comment but, this is a very excellent piece. Fabulous idea for a render!
That is very striking. It's fascinating to look at all the images within the form and how they form the pattern across the contours.
This has got to be one of the coolest things you've every created Eric. Have you worked on it recently?
