Description
The PH Lamp is Danish Design in top class. The designer, Poul Henningsen was born 1894 in Ordrup in Denmark. At that time many families still used paraffin lamps.

Fantastic, I actually have seen these lamps here in the States! If not mistaken, I've seen it used with candles, oil, gas, and electricity! It provides a soft ambiance with a completely uniform symmetrical lighting distribution. Some of the prices range from $700 to $3,000 and are now more design than function, with the advent of the GE soft white light bulb and floresent bulbs!
