Description
And now The Midshipman :
The dockyard shuttle shuddered violently, the pilot having just initiated the orbital escape thrusters. Midshipman Pike turned a brighter shade of pale green and was beginning to have serious qualms about his choice of vocation, to be a U.E.S.P.A officer. The pilot (a veteran female space traveler) gave her co-pilot a significant glance and motioned her head back to their sickly passenger.

I think I love the story as much as the artwork.
