Description

The second Heavy Cruiser, USS Enterprise NCC-1701 is completed. Captain Robert April commanding. This scene shows her arriving at the Planet Altair VI to accompany USS Constitution NCC-1700 in a display of Starfleet capitol assets in this region of space. This action, a clear warning to the Axanar War Council that The Federation is ready to meet any further hostilities. I'd like to see Kirk's ship meeting Picards Ship. Better yet, what if the Enterprise flies over the USS Enterprise CV-6 (The WWII carrier just prior to the nuclear one you saw in Star Trek IV)The CV-6 was the most decorated ship in US Naval History (Check it out) http://www.cv6.org/

I think RG19 has, I've mentioned it to him..there are a bunch of folks making meshes for the early years of the Federation there..too bad Star Trek- Enterprise has rendered a lot of it, well, 'not canon'..but that's the risk you take..;) great pic. Actually, several crew members from the USS Enterprise (the carrier) were on Enterprise (the TV show) once, though as 'red shirts'..so I guess it's come to pass..;)

Cool Startrek render, the planet looks great and the small sun/lensflare adds well too the scene. I would have spared out the second ship tho,it disturbs the good POV somehow( Maybe its the perspective)
