Description
You should not allow me near a market when I'm hungry, there's no telling just what may result. Art you can eat is always an appealing notion.

With Painter, make a clone and delete everything. Then "canvas:make mosaic" with tracing paper "on" and in this case, black grout. Play with the randomness, width, length of the tiles. Did I mention, be ready to trash everything and start over!... And Often! (If it looks good, save it!)

Interesting technique. And a great pic. Personally I'd leave out the writing but to each their own. Great colours!
ahhhh I get it.... art is food - food is art .... terrific :o)

A beautiful mixture!
Marvelous artwork. Beautiful. I bet it took a long time. I like the words. BTW, beets are also rich in folic acid.

how could i miss this one!!!!!!! i love it!! starting from one of your fav subjects (plants) to the colours choice to the all creation and explanation, plain stunning!!! hat's off to the master and my vote!!!
hell, this is superb :) totally mind blowing :)
The frontispiece to a chapter in a veggie recipe book! Yum - on both the image and the food! And I, too, love beets - pickled, baked, boiled and peeled and sliced with old cheddar on crusty white bread, in borscht. Have you ever tried them raw and grated, with salt, pepper and English salad cream? Great taste and fab fibre!
Whoa! My pleasure increases...
Art you can eat...yep...there's nothing better!!! I'm a big fan of food myself, hehe...i'm a eating pro!!! I really, really, really love what you've done here, Jim!!! yes, you are the master!!! thanks for the tips too!!! vote!
