Description
This is a few blocks from some derelict docklands. I had a very short time to get the photos, but basically drove around several blocks, jumping in and out of the car 6 times in about 8 minutes!

In Painter, started with the big palette knife, then some touchup with oils, and saved. At first I thought i'd submit that, but it was dreary and smeary. Then experimented with the sketch tool, and saved. Merging with PhotoShop, multiplied the layers and then massively pumped up saturation.

interesting cross between a sketch and a very rough oils. You do find some cool photo's!
Verra nice.
I like this........
well, it turned out wonderfully, luv the broad strokes in contrast to the intricate detail of the crane :]
Made for a very cool effect there Jim and great shot...
Very beautiful painting effect, this is an interesting idea. Wonderfully done, Jim !
Works very well. The technique softened the image, but didn't detract from the power and intricacy of the subject.
the wet almost touch really makes me thing of working cranes when outside all is humid, foggy and undefined. gorgeous work :)
A very excellent picture! I love the postwork! A wonderful inspiration!
Always a pleasure to see your skills in action, JJ...
