Description
Assembled this from two walls, processed two photos I made yesterday. Maybe tomorrow I'll post the nearby crane. The floor is actually a rubble wall at the J. Phelps winery somewhere near Napa.
-*-
To process the photos, I distorted until the bricks were horizontal and edges of the windows were close to vertical. My camera has some fisheye distortion but I ignored that. Then I carefully removed any glass, and part of a car. Then just the standard box assembly in Bryce, some lights, set up the camera, and 'shoot'.
-*-
Thanks for viewing, always fun to see what everyone thinks.

Looks great. I'm sure it wasn't as eay as you make it sound.
Very good image. What could make it better is the trees in the foreground. They don't quite match the image flavor. Maybe give them a darker texture or autumn type colors. The contrast of the leaves is just too light. But other than that it looks very good.
wow! this looks like the type of building "the department" should be in!
Great to see you Brycing! Love those textures! Beautiful lighting. Hope to see the nearby crane;-)
You know this is my favorite work from you.Just a question as to what the stone tex is in the 2 windows on top floor?
Excellent job of photo-modeling with Bryce!
Excellent Tex work!!
Aye, I like it a lot, turned out wonderful! Lots of detail in there...
cool work;)
Everyone think that your textures and modeling are really awesome Jim!
Beautiful work!
A wonderful image and excellent example of modelling and texture work. top render Jim. ---- Scott
Wow, this is amazing. Exceptional texture work. Only suggestion I'd make is that the storm drain is a little huge and maybe the bars are down a little too far. Other than that, perfect.
Very nice work!
just an excellent job on this jim!! very impressed!!! :o) v
Too cool, you've gone and done it this time. I especially admire the play of light on the back wall, very lovely. The only thing I might want to see tinkered with; maybe add a couple of hints of interior furnishings in a couple windows? ( to give it that 'lived in' look! ) Jeez, I look at work like this and wish I had another couple hundred hours of practice under my belt.
Wow, what a wonderful backyard scene, i really like those textures. Very, very impressive work :))
Impressive use of photo textures, a really beautiful image!!!
Stunning texture work, it looks so realistic. Brilliant work indeed ! V
Excellent on the textures and lighting!!
Beautiful. :-)
Outstanding work. YOu make it look so easy so I made it easy by hitting the vote button! Excellent job.
Outstanding work Jim! Definitely gets my vote! :)
Really has the look of an old sweatshop factory. Now, where's the gentrified version? Just kidding. It's great, although I do agree about the trees not quite matching, and the stones in the windows - is that meant to be boarding-up?
it's beautiful to see again your works dear :)
Brillant. None uses textures as you, jim... And many little things to apreciate in your modelling too... Bravo.
