Description
Natural obstacles are not all the fish have to contend with. I've spent many happy hours here myself. In days past, before I became as clever as I am now, I would fish here when it was so cold I had to dip my fishing rod in the river to melt the ice in the eyes. Brrrr! Glad I got brighter. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

great shot, i like the POV. !!!!!!! :O) !!!!!
Must have been a diehard fisherman back then! The older you get, the harder it is to take cold weather...LMAO!!! I remember salmon fishing at Lake Erie in a blizzard, not to mention sub-freezing temps, wearing a snowmobile outfit....Oh God, I can't believe I used to do that!!!!! Nice Shot!!
i remember watching guys dressed like polar bears with rods in their "paws", waddling to a hole cut in the ice of Lake Michigan...thinking "Damn they're not real bright are they." and that's the closest i've come to fishing in the winter! lol i love the shot...now that's good fishin' weather there!
Fabulous shot and great imagination! Bravo!
when i worked at the state park, the fishermen that would flock during the bass run were great fun to deal with! nice, relaxing shot! :]
