Description
An immature seagull, resting after a meal and worrying about where it's next meal is coming from. Without these guys, the coast would be a lot less pleasant place to live, These are the clean up crew, eating anything organic, and sometimes inorganic just on spec. Seagulls have one of the most caustic digestive systems, able to digest, anong other things, bone and shingle nails. These are the reason you can still walk the beach after a salmon spawn. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Always a pleasure Dear Chap...and informative too. You are one of Natures Centurions :]
Awe he looks so cold, poor little fella! Nice shot Jim :-)
Really a nice shot Jim! Love how I always learn something from these posts.
As a side note: The image seems a bit over compressed.... lots of jpeg artifacting so the sharpness is being compromised...
Now you've got a seagull too in your gallery, Jim ;o) Lovely shot!
Indeed, underappreciated tidy-uppers are they!
very true! he looks plump & content :]
He may be noisy but I can live with that..him and his pals do a great job:) Nice shot Jim..keep 'em coming:)
The sharpness in this otherwise good picture bothers me a bit.
It seems pretty lonely!
