Description
Okay, I added some more terrain and a few rocks. The lighting is the same but this time I used a distance render to get a depth of field effect that I hope looks similar to a desert like region. I think I'll zoom out some for the next pic, keep the lighting as is and just add in the alien skeletons...suggestions and comments welcome.

Nice piece... To my eye it somehow looks more than a landscape-model rather than a 'real' one, maybe it depends on the viewpoint and the heavy depth-blur... maybe the 'visual distance' doesn't match the visible (landscape)object-details...
I like th edirection but it odes look like a miniature landsacpe. But I love the distance render thing...how does that work. The previous version looked more to scale. If you figure this out I'd like to know for my own images.
Good point. I was thinking that also. The minature landscape thing turned about due to the over use of the BLUR MORE command. What I did was save out a Distance Render and loaded that as a selection on the final image and then used BLUR 3 times and then BLUR MORE an unknown amount of times (more than 3 less than twenty). I've already decided to lessen the blur effect for the next image while zooming out some. Thanks for the comments.
Teyon, I would love to see a panoramic version of this :))
I'll see what I can do...
