Description
...when they look down at the violence on our earth.
This day, should be a day of remembrance
not only for the US, but for the whole world.
A day to pray for peace.
This day, in little peaceful Sweden
our Minister of foreign affairs died,
stabbed in the stomach by a man in a shop,
A little girl, 5 years old,
was stabbed to death by a young man
in a daycare center.
A teenager was found murdered in a forest.
I hope the light will win,
but the angels freeze...

I feel ya...excellent!! We all have to remember the tragedy that has occured two years ago. This definitely brings it forth.
A wonderfull blend - and maby those Angels one day will find a reason to smile and rejoice at our world again. Those arms around the main angel seem to be attemting to help this Angel in despair.Truly wonderfull work you've done.
beautiful work of art .. when i got to work today i found out that a man was murdered 1 half block from where i work only hours before i got here.. not a town known for violence but it seems to be everywhere these days.. wish we could all just get along...
So touching - I wanted to send you a short not, when I heard about the death of the >Swedish foreign minister, expressing how much it made me sad - and then you post this angel and you said everything I could have said with good words and with a a great painting. Lets be proud on having a "genuine heart of sadness" Chgyam Trungpa, Rinpoche
I heard it on the radio that she died...made me kind of sad as she was trying to be a good and human politician. The others don't ever get the international attention, yet their death is a tragedy too. Death is bizarre. Many people speak of God etc yet see death as an insurpassable loss and defeat. And every day thousands of people die of malnutrition and a lack of healthcare. We accept that as it's far from our beds. But when it comes close, we hide our fear behind worn-out philosophies that give us the "we together" feeling. Presuming that might help... The world is changing. The ones that are left behind are we. Now it's our time to change. Not to change the world, but the way we perceive it. Going to a broader view of humanity... Sorry, Gun, my text took a bizarre turn when writing it. I can't help that. I do feel your image a lot, and, of course, this wasn't meant against you. Of course not.
Nahh... the "painting" is beautifull! The angels will not be freezing (they're up for the job)and the light is not ours! It's us, it's in our genes you know, except in mine I think.
Super image Gun and full of so much feeling. :0 )

without the angels the world would be thrown in complete & total chaos, instead of being sweet & sour, it would be rotten, beautiful image

Violence is indeed freezing the soul of everyone. I wonder if it can stop, and at days I am hopeless, like many others I guess. Your image tells perfectly about the pain. I hope that contrariwise to Olof Palme, they'll find the murderer this time.
sweeettttt!!!!!!
Words escape me. 'Powerful' is the only one left.
Pretty image! You have my vote.
A wonderfully touching work.
