Description
This is my entry in the Bryce Forum August Challenge "The Drawing of the Tree." The pergola and vines modeled by me with booleans and metaballs. Most of the textures are either photomats or DTE textures from last month's challenge donations. Ormlu's grass free model was used (64 tiles). Rendered in Bryce using soft shadows and Bryce sunlight (ambience lowered somewhat).

like the trellis work, good luck should do well. Not to well lol :)
I'm so used to seeing your name under excellent fractels, that it was a real surprise to see the fractel famous "tresamie" moniker under a really excellent Bryce image. Love the terrains and the slightly angled perspective.
Cool and very beautiful work....!!! for my it is also a very pleasant surprise to see that you had begun to work in Bryce, the combination of this program and the fractales that you believe can take it to the concretion of big and excellent realizations....!! a lot of luck....!!! =)
This is an awesome piece of Bryce work, Tres! The boolean and metaball modeling is very impressive. Very nice point of view, and I love the pergola and vines. Good luck!
This is just sooooooo gorgeous!!! :):)
I'm so happy with how this came out, Vivian! The ambient and shadows are really ok, but what I like most is the POV, with the grass in close-up and the tree on the left, not intrusive but oh-so-present. It's a very good image showing off all your great improvement.
Incredible work, Vivian. Thanks for letting us know about your Bryce works. They are outstanding!!!
Whoaaaa! This is vibrant, masterfully constucted, and a beautiful scene! Thanks for the link, and best of luck in the challenge!
I came, I saw, You conquered. This one's a winner in my book. I love the angled view.
