Description
Hi everyone. I'm trying my hand with the different modeling tools, specially NURBS, and sloooowly getting the hang of it. Some items (the vase, the remote) are modeled following various tuts.
I'm also beginning to explore the various light settings and rendering options: this is rendered with AA Best, volumetric ligthing and glow effect on the curtains and the window.
It's still a WIP, I plan to add lots of things in the room (and maybe get rid of that rocking-sofa, ehm), but I wanted to have some feedback.
This is my first C4D render ever, so please... have no mercy, because I want to learn! :)
Thanks for looking,
Stefano

wow!it great to see you venturing onto different software---this is quite incredible. ive only had a little experience w/ the c4d demo, and this is waaaay better than my first pic:)
Wow everything you do is so beautiful! Love the warm, rich colors. Can't wait to see what you add to this room. :)
Very nice! Great use of warm colors... damn I just want to relax right there :)
Wow! a very good start!! Can't wait to see more from you.
Wow! Super work.
Stefano, this is pretty darn good work. Your modelling is impressive as the way you have done the lighting. Brilliant image Stefano. ---- Scott.
ur on ur way to going alot of great things XD
Very beautiful light and colors!!! Work is excellent!!! :o)
Good start to the world of C4D must have a bit of time on your hands!
Nicely done, Stefano. It's a great start--never stop learning, and enjoy yourself!
Very impressive for your first try in C4D. The only things I see that could be improved is the shadows coming off the coffee table, the light has washed all but one away and it looks like it is floating. Also the rocking sofa is ever so slightly below the surface of the floor. At least it looks that way from here. Other than these, it is very good indeed. One last thing, Does this mean that you are abandoning Bryce??
For the most part, your lighting is excellent, and your modeling is progressing nicely! Your material choices are exquisite as always :) Your style is showing through!
i always love your interior works...this is outstanding...Excellent work...I'm glad to see ur first c4d render!!!
I don't think there would be enough room for my feet if sitting on that sofa ... ;-) (just picking on you) Really fine work as usual Stefano!
wow fantastic lighting ! excellent work!!! stefano!vote
WOW I want C4 now too!!!! Excellent render!!
PERFECT RENDER, AND LOVE THAT POWERFUL LIGHTING ;-)
I can't believe it, for a first C4D render it's excellent, I love the warm lighting. Keep on learning and ... Les italiens sont vraiment les rois du design :) Bravissimo Stefano !
You have done VERY well my friend!! I can hardly until your room is finished!! Then we can watch TV and sip Cappuccino in your new den:)!
nice work stefano, the chair is indeed below the surface of the floor. :))
since it's your first, and you hinted i should say so, i'll say "it's terrible". that being said, it's really cool and i like it alot! which do you believe. i guess i shouldn't say anything until your 1000th, but it's a great start, always easy to tell the artist who has a clear idea. so, it's another brilliant image and not that different from the ones you do so well in bryce. but NURBS are a gas, wish bryce had some. nice to have two modelers, that's why i pop into carrara mode.
Hmmm, you seem to know what you're after... Very effective lighting in this scene!
A great first step on your journey to new horizons. Congratulations Stefano!
Looks like you'll grasp the concept of C4D as quickly as you mastered Bryce judging by this effort.
Stefano, truly, you are on a great way, because this looks really marvelous for your first render!!!!My hat off to you..I wish my first C4D render looked like this :P However I think the "chair" (or whatever it is) seems to float in the air!
Great stuff...but when are you going to make us an animated feature film? ;)
You've done some very advanced things here, and quite well, may I add. It's my opinion that you have a natural flair for this, so, indeed, keep up the efforts! Well done.
